Cineworld Unlimited

I have been a Cineworld Unlimited cardholder for several years, even when it was a 50 mile round trip to get to one. Now that I have a Cineworld just down the road from me I just want to yell and sing out about the Cineworld Unlimited card and all of the advantages to having one.

How to save money with the Cineworld Unlimited card

What is a Cineworld Unlimited Card

The Cineworld Unlimited card is a monthly subscription card. With it you are able to see as many films as you want within a month for the one single monthly subscription rate you have paid.

The price per month is £17.40, which when you think the cost for a ticket to see a film is £10.20, you are half way there to paying back the cost seeing a film a month. My wife and I find we will go more often to the cinema just to make sure that we get our money's worth via just viewing films.

Bonuses of the Cineworld Unlimited card

One of the best features of the Unlimited card is the fact that it gives you discounts as well.

During your first year of being an Unlimited card holder you will be able to get 10% off any snacks, drinks and food for sale by Cineworld. After your first year you will be upgraded for free to Unlimited Premium (don't worry no price changes either), once this happens you will be able to get 25% off snacks, drinks and food! This makes the Unlimited card a brilliant thing to have when going to the cinema, and makes you popular with your friends that don't have it.

There is another discount feature of the Unlimited card. You can get 25% off at Pizza Hut, Chiquito and Frankie & Benny's restaurants. Since a lot of cinemas are likely to have one of these restaurants nearby it means that you can have a more affordable meal out after or before your film if you wanted. Though you don't have to visit the restaurant when seeing a film. This makes you even more popular with your friends as they will also want a meal out with you more often.

Booking your tickets online is also much more quicker and easier. All you will have to do is login, pick your film and seats before heading over to your Cineworld. Once there you can print out your ticket at a machine or open your confirmation and let staff scan your phone and check your card! Simple. Hardest part is trying to hold your snacks, drinks, phone and card at the same time!

Any limitations or catches to the Cineworld Unlimited card?

Yes there are a couple of limitations with the Unlimited card, but to be honest these are not that bad and haven't bothered me in the several years I have been a cardholder.

When you have booked a film online, you can't book another film online within a 90 minute time frame of the first film starting. This is in place quite simply for stopping people booking up seats that they will most likely not use. Do not worry though, if you are too late for your film you can book yourself into the next showing even if it falls into that 90 minute time frame, you will just have to be social and book the film through staff members rather than online.

You will need your Unlimited card for whenever you are booking a film, buying snacks or paying in one of the partnered restaurants. As you can imagine you will need your card on you to prove you are a cardholder, thankfully my wife and I have never forgotten ours, but it can take up room in your wallet or purse with all the other money saving and loyalty cards. And always remember to show you are a Unlimited cardholder when asking for the bill (saves them having to run the bill twice).

Get a month for free

I am sure that I have tempted you with the Cineworld Unlimited Card now. The final temptation for you will be getting a month for free!

All you will have to do is entering either of these codes when you register for an Unlimited card:

  • RAF-24VB-07EJ-74CL-16LS
  • RAF-07GR-59RW-05PQ-69UW

You should say that each time somebody uses those codes you also get a month free.
