BidKit the eBay App you didn’t know you needed

I bet that the majority of you will only use eBay either by visiting it's site on a computer or via eBay's official eBay app. But you should really think about using Bidkit to search through eBay instead. For personal use or reselling, Bidkit is an amazing tool that any eBay buyer should be using.

What is Bidkit?

Bidkit is a search widget for use alongside eBay. A search widget allows you to more easily search a website for specific words or categories.

You can either use it on your phone with its App or you can use the Bidkit website. Or use both, though bit difficult to do at the same time.

This is a majorly useful tool for my wife and I as resellers but is also useful for anyone that is looking to narrow down the search options within eBay. As many people will know with eBay you can only narrow your search via best match, highest & lowest prices, newly listed, ending soonest and nearest.

Bidkit expands upon these allowing you to search in a greater capacity than before.BidkitWhy is it good for Resellers?

In my honest opinion Bidkit is an incredibly useful tool that anyone, not just a reseller, would be glad to use if they are often on eBay.

Resellers by trade will want to find the cheapest and closest items to themselves but also need to be able to quickly and easily search for these items. Bidkit allows this. My wife and myself have been able to find and win items close to ourselves for amazing prices. You can even see our haul video of that time here.

The best example of this is when we managed to get a massive joblot of car boot items for £5.50. The amount of items completely filled the car and we nearly ran out of space to put them. We had only managed to find this due to the Bidkit app on our phones.

What can Bidkit search for?

Bidkit has 11 searches that can massively help you find what your after. Many are pretty much what they say on the tin (well the screen really).

Spelling Mistakes

Personally one of my favourite search sections, I think it might be due to how much I can misspell things but also that it is such a common mistake for people to make and not realize. Bidkit becomes a genius and is able to find these typos and since many people will not be able to see them due to the spelling mistake you will get yourself a bargain.

Local Collection Only

Don't want to go far or want something that is going be big but don't want the huge travel or delivery cost? In this section type your postcode, how far willing to go and of course what you are looking for and there are all your local collection only items, ready for the bidding.

Zero Bids

I hate bidding wars! They are really frustrating. I usually only seem to enter these with my own personal harder to find items (such as OOP warhammer items or cult collection games), but when you want an item and cheaply all you need to do is head to zero bids and narrow it down to ending soonest to avoid the frustration.

Night-time Auctions

To those that regularly sell on eBay they will know to have an item end during the evening or weekend when the majority of people will be free and on eBay, though even if they have it on their phone doesn't mean they will be free. Now especially if they have short listed their item then you can snatch up yourself a good night-time deal since you can search for those that end when most will have gone to bed.

The Other Searches

·         Daily deals

·         Unwanted gifts

·         Unwanted prizes

·         Like new

·         New Buy it Now items

·         Penny auctions

·         Expensive items

If it's so good why haven't I heard of it?

Now this might be the question some of you are asking yourselves.

Bidkit was originally Bidhero! A tool that some of you might have heard of or used before. Though some of you that have had or used it might have realized that Bidhero disappeared and was replaced by Bidkit after a recent update.
